Chorderator Help

To see a list of chord fingerings, simply type in the name of the chord you are interested in, using standard musical notation. For example, just enter "Am7" to see how to play an A minor seventh chord.

By clicking on the "More Options" link, you can specify the tuning or where your capo is placed.

Alternatively, you can specify a tuning or a capo in the search box itself. For example, you can type "Am tuning:DADGBD capo:3" or "tuning:dropped-d G7" (New tuning types are constantly being added. Give some a try, or make a suggestion.)

Advanced options

By clicking on the link that says "More options," you can set the tuning and adjust for a capo. Several pre-defined tunings are available in the drop-down box, or you can customize the tuning by entering a list of note names. The algorithmic nature of Chorderator allows for complete freedom in the tuning and the number of strings used.
